Maze
I had lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s Maze on Saturday. Two of us shared 8 courses of delicious tapas sized food and a bottle of fine white wine, made a very pleasant meal. Crab salad, pickled golden beetroot, apple jelly, Bloody Mary sorbet; Roasted sea scallops, cauliflower purée, Muscatel vinegar dressing; London cured salmon confit, saturated apple, pickled English vegetables, celeriac remoulade and salsa verde paste; Roasted hake in Parma ham, chorizo and pimento purée, squid pain; Roasted squab, spiced pumpkin butter, chestnut and brussels leaves, Madeira sauce; Roasted rack of lamb, winter vegetable purée, hispi cabbage salt marsh mutton shepherd’s pie; Peanut butter and cherry jam sandwich with salted nuts and cherry sorbet; Pineapple carpaccio, coconut sorbet, seaweed croquette and Malibu lime jelly.
Delicious.
