Great haircuts, fantastic clothes
Freemans is my barber of choice in New York City. This amazing store is a barber, sutler and apocathery. Freemans offers traditional men’s grooming services in a casual environment where men can drop by and get a haircut or shave in a traditional setting without the fuss or trouble of making appointments. A sutler was a merchant in the late 1800’s that followed the expeditions, explorers, and the Army to sell clothing, equipment, and supplies in places where no general store existed. In October 2006, F.S.C. launched this concept store and “Sutlery” at the head of Freemans Alley making a new outpost to sell its clothing line next to its popular restaurant and namesake.
